Storehouse 408 is required to check proof of vaccination to all patrons entering the building. This includes clients and their guests. Everyone must show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 as well as photo ID.
a) Children under age 12 do not need to show proof of vaccination but will be required to attend with a fully vaccinated adult
b) Vendors/workers who are entering the building solely for the purposes of work, and will spend less than 2 hours inside the space (i.e. florists, repairs, drop-offs, etc...)
c) Vendors who will spend more than 2 hours at the venue, but must show proof of a negative Covid test within 48 hours prior to arrival. This test can be taken at local drugstores and the results shown at the door. Home tests taken offsite will not be accepted as valid. **Note: These vendors may not remove their mask at anytime inside the space, even for meals, and must make arrangements to eat outdoors.
Masks are required indoors while guests are standing/mingling, coming to the bar, buffet, or walking to the washrooms. Masks may be removed while outdoors, or while guests are seated at their table/seat.
Masks are not required during ceremonies while guests are seated. The wedding party and marrying couple may remove their mask during the ceremony only.
Storehouse 408 is allowed to accommodate up to 100% capacity (160 people seated, 120 comfortably) for events without dancing, or up to 25% capacity (50 people) for events that will include dancing. We can accommodate 100% capacity if dancing takes place outdoors.
Do my vendors count toward my guest count?
Yes, all people count toward your guest count, except venue and catering staff.
Can I combine an indoor and outdoor event and have more people?
No, you cannot combine an indoor and outdoor event to increase guest capacity.
If I have more than the indoor capacity limitation, can I have the event partially indoors and partially outdoors?
Unfortunately not. The government rules state that if the event is partially indoors and partially outdoors, the INDOOR capacity limitation applies. Otherwise, the entire event has to be outdoors, with the exception of washroom use.
Do babies or vaccinated people count as part of the guest count?
Yes, all people in your party, regardless of age or vaccination status, count toward the guest count.
When can my guests remove their masks?
Here are our rules regarding masks:
Do we have to wear masks during our wedding ceremony?
No, the marrying couple and wedding party may remove masks during the ceremony as long as you are all comfortable.
Are we allowed dancing?
Yes, as long as your guest count if 50 people or less. Otherwise, if your guest count is larger, dancing can happen outdoors.
If we can't dance... what the heck do we do?
There are so many ways to not only entertain your guests on your wedding day, but also have SO MUCH FUN! We've seen a lot of weddings come through here during Covid and there has been no shortage of fun. Here are a few ideas:
Can we still have our first dances?
Yes, we do allow you to have your couples dance indoors or out, as well as parent dances (i.e. father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, etc...)
Can we have a live band?
Yes you can, as long as anyone playing a wind or brass instrument is behind a plexiglass barrier.
What does the venue have to do to keep my guests safe?
We have a strict health & safety plan that includes:
Do we need to provide anything like masks, hand sanitizer, guest list, etc... for our event?
You are required to provide your guests with masks (in case they forget theirs) and we recommend you bring additional hand sanitizer for their tables.
We also require that you send us the following no less than 2 weeks before your event:
